School Supply Lists
K-5 School Supplies: We're providing all basic school supplies for K-5 this year! All your student needs to bring is a backpack, wired headphones/earbuds and some kleenex.

Roseburg High School teachers will provide classroom materials as needed, but to help students start the year strong, we encourage families to send them with a few basic essentials like notebooks, lined paper, pencils, pens, and a backpack.
Douglas County Back to School Bash
Get ready for the biggest Back to School Bash yet! The 2026 Back to School Bash is bringing Douglas County families, students, educators, and community partners together for an unforgettable day filled with excitement, connection, and celebration. From free school supplies, haircuts, food, and family-friendly activities to live entertainment, community resources, and plenty of fun, this year’s event is designed to spark confidence, inspire learning, and help every student start the school year strong.

Hucrest: 1 to 3 p.m. August 27

First Day of School by Grade Level
Elementary School
Kindergarten: Kindergarteners will be on a soft start schedule. Contact your child’s school for details.
Grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5: First day of school is August 31.
Middle School
Grade 6: First day of school is August 31.
Grades 7, 8: First day of school is September 1.
High School
Grade 9: First day of school is August 31.
Grades 10, 11, 12: First day of school is September 1.
